Come-See-Me - The Come-See-Me Festival was first held in 1962 as a community project to invite visitors, relatives and friends to see Rock Hill during its most beautiful season. It started as a weekend event and has expanded to 10 days. It is considered the largest, all-volunteer festival in South Carolina and attracts over 125,000 participants and visitors each year. York County Culture & Heritage Commission - Rock Hill and York County abound with historical sites and museums. A visit to the Museum of York County is a cultural excursion into learning. On display is the Southeast's largest collection of more than 200 full-mounted African animals in the Stans African Halls, large animals in the North American Hall and plants and animals special to the Carolina Piedmont in the Hometown Habitats exhibit.
